Illustration for Pica Magazine’s 8th edition. The theme of the edition was “Forme.” For my spread, I decided to reinterpret Plato’s Theory of Forms. Plato’s Theory of Forms, or Theory of Ideas, admits that concepts are immutable abstract entities that serve as models for the forms we perceive in sensible reality. We perceive only the imperfect instances of these abstract entities that exist independently of the sensible world.
