In the one-boat region of Vancouver BC, ferries became synonymous with inconvenient travel. The Vancouver Island Ferry Company (VIFC) set out to change all that with a high-speed ferry service that delivers travel with ease. We christened it hullo and built an equally inviting word mark (with a playfully buoyant U) and design system that extends across marketing material, apparel, the booking experience, onboard accessories, and the design of the vessel itself, inside and out.
