Zellers opened in 1928 with one location in London, Ontario. By 1999 there were 350 stores across Canada. In 2013, they closed their doors. Last year, they came back. Our task was to refresh the brand for new, digital-savvy audiences, all while retaining the brand equity and personality people knew and loved.
