My profound impression of New York is, in fact, the pervasive sense of separation and farewell brought about by the swiftly flowing opportunities and rhythms, accompanied by the loneliness that accompanies everyone: A father visiting his daughter in the United States, sharing a meal and conversation. The daughter hurriedly leaves due to an urgent matter, leaving the father silently facing an empty seat, eating his noodles alone.
