We have a clear view of others' storms while our own skies are cloudy. This is a phrase that describes the current state of mind in South Korea. My grandma and many others are afraid of the shootings and gang violence occurring in the States, but seem oblivious to the larger threat— North Korea's nukes. Through this piece, I hope to provide a sense of alert and urgency to my fellow South Korean citizens, and a complete understanding of the implications of living in South Korea.
