The consequences of gender-based violence are devastating and can have lifelong repercussions for survivors. It can include sexual, physical, and mental harm inflicted in public or in private. Many victims choose not to address their experiences openly, yet they yearn for a safe space to share their experiences and get help. Spotify creates a playlist disguised as a helpline and utilizes Instagram's hidden tag and hashtag feature to help survivors and victims of gender-based violence.
