I developed my concept for Tape Deck around the idea of using a Rube Goldberg-like machine. The piece consists of a series of elements and characters whose ultimate goal is to turn on a light, which illuminates a fictitious logo. To capture this, I used a stop motion technique as well as digital elements comped in after. The scene also loops, which proved to be the biggest challenge that I faced in the project.
